Dear St. David Families,

As we enter the fifth week of the Lenten season, we are reminded of the significance of reflection, repentance, and renewal. It is during this time we are called to deepen our connections, both with our faith and with one another.

In the spirit of Lent, let us consider the importance of approaching each other with genuine goodwill and respect. As we navigate the complexities of our relationships and interactions, let us remember the virtues of kindness, understanding, and empathy. These values not only enrich our connections but also contribute to fostering a sense of harmony and unity within our community.

In a world often fraught with division and discord, let us strive to be beacons of light, spreading warmth and compassion wherever we go. Let our words and actions reflect the love and grace that we are called to embody a followers of faith. Wishing you all a blessed and reflective fifth week of Lent.

Yours in faith,

Ms. Medrano

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA TROOP 146

Hello,

My name is Robert Padia and I am the Scoutmaster for El Sobrante, Boy Scout Troop 146. The Boy Scout program is a great opportunity for your students to experience new adventures like camping, hiking, and high-adventure activities and learn valuable life skills that can be helpful in school like leadership training, working in groups, and first aid skills.

I am reaching out to your school to see if we can distribute this flyer for a recruiting event coming up next week. We can send it by email or we can bring flyers to your school to distribute. Please let me know how we can get this flyer to your students.

Thank you

SM Robert Padia

REQUESTING CONFERENCES

As we continue to foster a supportive and collaborate environment within our school community, I would like to kindly remind everyone of the importance of maintaining respectful communication, particularly when requesting conferences with teachers.

We understand the significance of staying involved in your child's educationa nd seeking clarity on their progress. It is essential to approach these requests with consideration and professionalism. Here are a few gentle reminders to help facilitate a positive experience:

  1. Schedule in Advance: Please schedule conferences with teachers in advance. This allows them to allocate sufficient time to address your concerns.
  2. Be Specific: Clearly outline the purpose of your conference request, including any particular topics or issues you wish to discuss. This helps our teachers prepare and ensures that the meeting is productive.
  3. Respect Boundaries: Recognize that our teachers do teach during the school day. It may not always be feasible to arrange immediate meetings. Please respect their time and commitments by showing up at the agreed upon time.
  4. Maintain Professionalism: Maintain a respectful and courteous demeanor in all communications with teachers, whether in person, via email, or phone.

For your convenience, I have included a link to the Parent Student Handbook that outlines Parent and Legal Guardian Responsibilities when requesting conferences.
