We have opened registration for the Introduction to Kindergarten Summer Program. This program is the perfect way for your future kindergartener to get a first look at what it is like to be a McGovern student. This summer program is just one of the many exciting events in preparation for the new school year. In the coming weeks, we will share “The Road to Kindergarten,” a flyer that outlines essential events and milestones leading up to the first day of kindergarten.

MFPA BINGO NIGHT

The MFPA is excited to host its third annual Musical Bingo night. The event will occur on Thursday, March 20, in the Medway Middle School Cafeteria. Pre-registration is required, and the doors open at 6:00 p.m. Musical Bingo will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.


This FUNdraiser is not to miss, as it offers fun for all ages. Mr. Doug Herbst will once again be our Musical Bingo caller. There will also be incredible music, dancing, and raffle items.

First Aid and CPR Class

FIRST AID & CPR TRAINING

This credentialed course is designed for anyone needing to respond to a first-aid emergency. Participants are taught how to handle injuries and manage illness in the first few minutes until help arrives. The six modules covered in this course are First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, Adult CPR, and Pediatric CPR. This year's Winterfire will be held again at the Adams Meadow on Saturday, March 15, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Medway Trail Club would like to extend an open invitation to all to get outside and enjoy Medway's trails. Join us for good old-fashioned family fun, including a scavenger hunt and marshmallow roasting over an open fire! Maple syruping is back!

Nomination Papers available January 21, 2025 in the Town Clerk's Office

NOMINATION PAPERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TOWN ELECTION

The Town Clerk's office announces that nomination papers are available for the May 20, 2025, Town Election. Please stop by the Town Clerk's office at 155 Village Street during regular business hours to pull papers. The last day to obtain nomination papers is March 28, 2025, by 5 p.m.

Town Clerk Announces Dog Licensing is Open

DOG LICENSING

The Town Clerk reminds residents to renew or apply for their dog licenses. The updated fees are $10 for spayed/neutered dogs and $15 for intact dogs. A $25 late fee will apply to permits not obtained by 4/15/25. As you know, late fees outstanding from prior years will still incur a $50 charge. If you have any questions, please call the Town Clerk's Office at 508-533-3204. Deadline is March 31, 2025.

Teen Venture Program Assistant Director—Qualified candidates must be 25 or older for this seasonal, 35-hour-per-week position. The program operates from July 1 to August 8, 2025, with the possibility of additional hours in August through the Choate Summer Program.

Teen Venture Program Counselors—Qualified candidates must be 18 or older for this seasonal, 35-hour/week position. The program runs from July 1 to August 8, 2025, with the potential for additional hours in August with the Choate Summer Program. Choate Summer Program Counselors—Qualified candidates must be 16 or older and have experience working with K- 5 children. The program runs from July 1 to July 25, 2025. Candidates must be available from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
