Last Minute Save From No Electricity Because No Child Deserves To Be Without Lights Or Heat.

An applicant reached out to Hope Station desperately looking for assistance with her electric bill. Her electricity had been turned off and Hope Station was preparing to close for the day. With several applications in line before this one, a representative of Hope Station’s Client Services team immediately contacted the Program Director to inform her of the situation. Given the severity of the situation with the upcoming drop in temperatures, the program director expedited the underwriting of the application and contacted the utility company as soon as the application was approved. With the necessary people at Hope Station pulling together as a team and putting the client’s needs before their own, the applicant’s electricity was turned back on later that evening.

The applicant was astonished by the care and compassion of Hope Station’s staff and was immediately filled with HOPE that she will eventually find herself in a better circumstance.
