Redmond High School PTSA Scholarships

The Redmond High School PTSA is thrilled to announce six scholarships worth $1,000 each for deserving class of 2025 graduates. Selection is based on various criteria, such as involvement in extracurricular and community service activities, academic excellence, motivation, future goals, as well as any unique life challenges.

 

To apply, candidates must complete the scholarship form, respond to short answer and essay questions, provide a copy of their high school transcript, and submit two letters of recommendation, with at least one coming from an RHS faculty member.

 

The application deadline is Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Submit complete applications to scholarships@redmondhsptsa.org.

Calling All Volunteers: Join the 2025-26 RHS PTSA Board!

Are you looking for an opportunity to get more involved at RHS? Are you passionate about making a positive impact on our school’s community? Do you have ideas to improve our students’ high school experience? If so, we need YOU! Redmond HS PTSA is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join its Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

As a member of the PTSA Board, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Shape School Policies: Influence decisions that affect our students and school environment.
  • Enhance Educational Programs: Help create and support programs that enrich our students' learning experiences.
  • Foster Community Engagement: Build strong connections between parents, teachers, students, and the broader community.
  • Develop Leadership Skills: Gain valuable experience in leadership, project management, and teamwork.

 

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Committed to making a difference.
  • Team players with good communication skills.
  • Willing to contribute their time and talents.

 

No prior experience is necessary - just a passion for helping our school community thrive!

RHS Spring Dance on April 5 Needs Your Help!

The Associated Student Body (ASB) has been working hard on planning for the Spring Dance, set for Saturday, April 5. It seems like a long time away, but it will come sooner than you think, so please sign up as soon you can.


Your help is needed for checking-in coats, handing out refreshments, and supervising the game room. Let's help out the ASB and make it special for all the kids!


We've split the event into two volunteer shifts, so sign up for one shift or do a double shift and stay the whole night. We appreciate your help either way!

Important: All volunteers MUST be approved by the Lake Washington School District by event day. Approval will be verified before the event. Please fill out the LWSD Volunteer Application to begin the online approval process.

Travel with RHS in 2026

Come experience two incredible places on our amazing earth with fellow RHS teachers and students. These trips are open to all students who will be enrolled at RHS in the 2025-26 school year.

RHS Drama Presents - 9 to 5: The Musical

9 to 5 is a high-energy, empowering comedy about three women who work together in a corporate office environment, each facing their own struggles with a sexist, egotistical boss. When they unite to take matters into their own hands, they spark a revolution that transforms their workplace and their lives. Filled with humor, show-stopping dance numbers, and a strong message of female empowerment, the show celebrates friendship, resilience, and the pursuit of justice.

The Friday, March 7 show will feature professional American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters and our RHS ASL honors club will be on hand to help with ticketing, concessions, and ushering. Spread the word!!
