Hello Ausblick Members and Friends,

March is that time of the season where our intended hours of operation can get very uncertain. As I write this we are poised to receive a sizable snow storm. It should be the type of event that we deserved more of this season. We welcome it with open arms and hope we can enjoy another one or two. We typically try to ski/board to the end of March. We have enough base to sustain operation at this point with storms being the “icing on our cake” as I like to say.

We also try to have a Member Appreciation Deck Party if we see a weekend day coming with warmth and sun. Please join me in crossing our collective fingers for weather that keeps you interested in Ausblick for the rest of March and maybe beyond if circumstances permit. Thanks for reading this and I look forward to seeing you this weekend!!!

Outside Operation Report:

Is spring here? It looks like it could be a cold March, and we are gearing up for a great finish to the season!

I will be adding and changing terrain as the temperatures and weather allow, come on out and get your turns in. See you on the slopes!

Ausblick Snowsports School Report:

Ausblick Snowsports School is now closed for the 2022/23 season. Despite the challenging weather conditions this winter, we had a full season of lessons and programs.

Our instructors enjoyed working with all of you and your guests!

My thanks to all the instructors who gave of their time this winter for training and lessons. It is a great honor to work with such a wonderful team! Lynn

Report:

ASRT is completing its season this month as the snow on the “mountain” drips away.

Last month, we had several athletes complete their MWAR season and had multiple champions in their respective age groups as well as took home the team season trophy. Our high school athletes completed the state meet with multiple top 10 overall individual finishes and several members qualifying for the high school nationals. Our USSA skiers recently completed their qualifiers and are headed to Colorado to compete in the Rocky/Central Championships.

It's been a great season by all of our dedicated athletes, coaches and parents as well as the staff at Ausblick!
