Storytime Picnic

This month's book: My Mommy is a Schoolteacher written by Nasra Noor


We are thrilled to have an opportunity to meet the author at this event! Bring a Picnic and enjoy the park afterwards.


Nasra Noor is a dedicated mother of 4 daughters. She has always dreamed of becoming a school teacher. After years of putting of her own ambitions on hold to focus on her family, she decided to earn her teaching license. She is now a second grade teacher.

Music Series: Marina Capri Music

Join us for our first live music performance of the summer season!


MEET MARINA CAPRI MUSIC

This lively acoustic duo formed in 2018. With a passion and history in music playing and creating, Uncle Jun teamed up with Marina to form what is now known as Marina Capri Music; playing cover songs from artists like Patsy Cline, Elvis, The Eagles, CCR, The BeeGees, Alison Krauss, and more.

Rail Derailment Exercise

Thursday, June 29, Time TBD

The City has confirmed it will hold a rail derailment exercise in the Kenilworth Corridor on Thursday, June 29. Time TBD. The day will include a community classroom learning opportunity at Kenwood Community center and the rail exercise itself. The exercise will be conducted rain or shine.
