CHAMBER UPDATES | MAY 31, 2023
Chamber Members-

As you know, baseball is a passion for me; it always has been and always will be. If you are still interested in joining us for the Reds game on June 6th, we'd love to have you, tickets are still available. The same holds true of our 2nd annual vintage baseball game against the 1869 Red Stockings on July 3rd at 5:00pm. The game will be played ahead of the community fireworks and music at Colerain Park with the new concession stand open as well.

This newsletter marks my 50th newsletter as President of your chamber of commerce and I hope that along the way you've learned more about me, been able to plug into the various events that we've hosted and availed yourself of all of the resources we have across our community. We have had four student interns that have worked on behalf of the chamber since 2020, and we continue to grow because of members like you telling our story. We've increased the initiatives to support a cleaner & greener community and as you've seen, Lora Dakin is out telling the Team Up to Green Up story wherever she can. We've added SNAZZY awards to our fun recognition of businesses/properties that are high visibility and that are kept up nicely. Watch for additional social media pictures/posts and see the recent awards below. Who knows, maybe your business will be up for a SNAZZY soon.

Speaking of awards, we will be awarding the grand prize winner of the first annual Colerain H.O.P.E. community video contest at the upcoming June 13th Colerain Township Trustees meeting. Additional details are included below, and you can watch the videos through our social media channels. Congratulations to each of our category winners and to everyone that participated with a submission. We were able to have chamber leaders from as far away as Alaska and California judging the videos on our behalf and a special thank you goes out to Helen Tracey-Noren (Colerain Township), Dana Gagon (Waycross Community Media), and Lyndsey Creecy (NWLSD) for the extra effort in making this happen.

Finally, as summer starts to set in, please know that we are a 24/7, all year chamber of commerce. We are here for one another to Support, Connect and Celebrate across Colerain. If you would like to see different programs or events, are interested in volunteering for an event/committee, or simply want to provide feedback about the direction we're going, please let Beth, me or one of our valued board members know how we can help.

Wishing you a wonderful day and we hope to see you at the upcoming Hometown Hero event!
