Governor Henry McMaster Proclaims April 'Innovation Awareness Month'

Governor Henry McMaster joined SCRA, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, and the Medical University of South Carolina in proclaiming Innovation Awareness Month in South Carolina at the State House on Monday. They were joined by innovators and entrepreneur startups who showcased their exciting innovations. The showcase featured SCRA Member Companies, Humimic Medical, Integrated Micro-Chromatography Systems, and SC Launch Inc. Portfolio Companies, Bubble Paper, and Van Robotics. SCRA Presents IPF Diamond Club Award to Yarborough Applegate

SCRA presented the Industry Partnership Fund (IPF) diamond-level award to Yarborough Applegate Attorneys at Law. This award is in recognition of Yarborough Applegate’s support of South Carolina’s innovation economy as a diamond-level contributor. Learn more about the IPF.

SCRA Announces New Member Companies and Grant Funding

Builder Rocket, CloseWise, and ElectroWire were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Carolina Seed Systems, Pensievision, and Tandem Concepts received new grant funding.

All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc. Read more.
