Good afternoon friends!
As we approach June, marking the halfway point for the year, I find myself eager to dive in and assess my vision and my goals. Although I write a vision statement each month, it is specific for the month ahead. By reviewing my vision and ultimately my goals I am able to assess progress and identify any areas that have fallen off the radar. I have discovered that it can be easy to write a vision for the year about the things I want to accomplish but forget to consider how I want to feel and what I want to experience. How I want to feel and what I want to experience is typically reflected in the monthly vision. Yet they are such an important part of a vision statement.
Benefits of having a vision statement
- A vision provides a clear path and sense of direction, helping you navigate choices and make decisions that are aligned with your values and long-term goals
- It acts as a source of motivation and inspiration, prompting you to take action
- A vision helps you focus on what matters to you, acting as a guide in prioritizing your time, energy, and resources
- A vision statement helps you develop resilience, an ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges, serving as a reminder of the stepping stones in your journey
- It encourages personal and professional growth, pushing you to step out of your comfort zone, acquire new skills, and embrace opportunities
Remember, a vision serves as a guide that illuminates your path and empowers you to live a purposeful and fulfilling life.
If you don’t have a vision and you don’t know where to begin, please check out the Midyear Reset Masterclass tomorrow.
If you have a vision and you feel like you have fallen off the path, please check out the Midyear Reset Masterclass tomorrow.
If you do have a vision statement, I would love to hear what your practice is around reminding yourself of the vision and how you stay tuned in to it.
Wishing you light and love,
