Workshop instructors needed

We're seeking workshop instructors to help us expand our offerings. Can you help with any of the following?

Any contractors fluent in Spanish who could teach a Spanish language workshop (any topic)
Women carpenters or handywomen to expand our schedule of Intro to Tools for Women classes
Plumbers who can teach a Plumbing Basics and/or Fix Your Own Toilet workshop

Monday: Closed

Tuesday: By appointment only

Wednesday: 12:00-5:00

Thursday & Friday: 10:00-7:00

Saturday: 8:00-5:00

Co-op business hours remain the same

Earth Day, April 26

Celebrate Earth Day at Boston Building Resources! This free community celebration will include music, free food fresh from the grill, tie dye fun, and activities for the kids.

Take free plants or donate plants! The Trustees will be organizing a plant swap. Share your favorite perennials and take home new ones for this year's garden.

Coming soon: Mending at BBR

Later this spring, we'll be launching a mending clinic at BBR. The schedule is still to be determined, but we're seeking a few donations as we get started:

Sewing machine(s) in good working order, ideally heavier duty
Feet and bobbins for sewing machine
Sewing notions (thread, buttons, zippers, hook & eye)
Fabric scissors, pins, pincushions, thimbles, seam rippers
Fabric that can be used for patching (denim, iron-on patches)
Large storage totes

We are seeking volunteers to help customers and to keep the sales floor looking good. Now that we are open later on Thursdays and Fridays, we're seeking volunteers who can be here during those times.
