Climate Action

Induction Cooktop Loaner Program

The Town’s Climate Action Committee has set up a portable induction cooktop loaner program to loan a single burner induction cooktop for up to two weeks to any Fairfax resident.

Induction stoves and cooktops are safe, sustainable, and efficient electric appliances that generate electricity from an electric magnetic field, which then directly heats the bottom of your pan.

To try one out yourself, contact Neil Kraus at nkrausdc@sbcglobal.net and mention “induction cooktop” in the subject line of the email to be added to the waitlist.
