This Weekend at St. Peter's

Good Friday Service Tenebrae

April 18, 6:00 PM

In the Sanctuary

Tenebrae is Latin for "shadows" or "darkness." It commemorates the events of Jesus' last days. On Good Friday, April 18 at 6:00 PM, we gather for a solemn service of reflection and gratitude for His sacrifice.

Join a Prayer Team

St. Peter’s is a praying church—founded on prayer. Our Prayer Ministry is growing, and we invite you to join us. In addition to the prayers of all small groups, Bible Studies, meetings, and gatherings, the following are teams who use their gift of prayer for specific requests:

  • Praying Hands meets Wednesday at 8:00 AM in Room B.
  • Our At-Home Prayer Team is reached with requests via E-Mail.
  • Sunday morning Prayer Partners are available for personal, confidential requests after each service.

Should you be led to use your gift of prayer with us, please contact the church office at 714-846-6641 or info@stpetershb.org.

Tell Me a Story

Saturday, May 17

9:00 - 11:00 AM

As we continue to gather information to discern the focus of our mission, we want to invite EVERYONE to a story-telling event on Saturday, May 17, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We will gather around tables to hear and share the stories from our past where God’s grace has been evident. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been here a short time or are a long-time member, we believe everyone has something to contribute. Sign-ups begin Sunday, April 27.
