You won't want to miss our April meeting!
We are privileged to welcome Retiring Whatcom County Auditor Debbie Adelstein and the person wanting to replace her, Chief deputy Auditor, Diana Bradrick. Ms. Adelstein and Ms.Bradrick will talk about last November's record breaking general election and the subsequent recount required to determine the outcome of the races between Senator Doug Ericksen, his rival Bellingham City Councilwoman Pinky Vargas, 42nd District Representative LuAnne Van Werven and her rival Justin Boneau.





Having a Garden Party
On Saturday, March 30, 2019, the gardening season for 2019 officially began in the Cordata Neighborhood Community Garden as plot-holders prepared their gardens for this years growing of a bountiful abundance of vegetables. Almost all of the 50 garden plots are subscribed. If you are interested in a plot this season, contact Kaitlin Schanken at mschanken@gmail.com Two of the plots were rented by Whatcom Community College for a student project with the vegetables grown in them to go to the Orca Food Pantry located at the college. Meridian H.S. Senior Presentations
On April 18th, Bev Jacobs and Julie Guy will
be attending the senior presentations at Meridian High School. Anyone interested in attending please call Julie Guy at (360) 738-8466.

RJ Developers Public Meeting
The RJ Group developers are holding a public meeting to introduce a planned residential complex on 8 acres adjacent to the new Cordata park. The time is 5:30pm at the WCC Foundation building on Colonna Court, room 201. This development will add up to 300 residential units plus some retail. Come to share your thoughts and concerns abut this plan.
