A college representative will meet in-person, or virtually where indicated, at CCHS with any Sophomore or Junior student that is interested. A counselor is also present.
- A college rep is the person who reads the application for admission, so a face-to-face meeting will serve the student well.
- The student must print a screenshot of the SCOIR registration and have their teacher sign it as their pass.
- A student needs to remember that they are representing CCHS at these meetings so come with some good questions and your best behavior.
- The visits will be listed by Friday for the following week and a complete list is available on SCOIR.
- Unless otherwise noted, both in-person and virtual college visits will take place in the Counseling Office’s College Center.
Thursday, April 20:
Hillsdale College at 9:45 AM
Queens University of Charlotte at 12:45 PM
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
-
CCHS is a certifying organization for students who meet the criteria and submit needed documentation. Detailed information and the forms needed to be completed can be found in the Charlotte Catholic website at https://www.charlottecatholic.org/Page/415.
- If you are serving in the community it is recommended that you print the forms now and have supervisors sign as you volunteer to document your service.
-
All forms are due to Ms. Hager in the counseling office no later than Monday, May 15, 2023. Late forms will not be accepted.
- ***Current Seniors must get their forms in by MAY 1st in order to be recognized during Senior Awards Day.***
