On day two, an introduction to US Chapter 11 bankruptcy processes and options was led by Matthew English followed by Professor Mark Watson-Gandy’s legal workshop on sanctions law from a UK perspective and applied to turnaround and restructuring workouts. Participants also got their heads together in highly energetic tripartite debates on sanction-based case studies.
And finally, concluding the day was a Leadership session delivered by Dr Esther van Fenema who looked at high performers’ brain patterns, coping mechanisms, the importance of keeping mentally fit, and how that translates into turnaround.
Our sincere thanks go to all the speakers, attendees and everyone involved in organising such a fantastic inaugural event. We also thank our sponsors Deloitte Italia, Concilium Consulting and GoTo Generator for their support.
