Hello Tolt Bear Community!

We are having a ton of fun this time of year! This Thursday, we welcomed all of our incoming 6^th graders for a 5^th Grade Transition Event. Students from all of our elementaries were able to come together for the first time and have some fun experiences with us. This is one step in a series of events that allow us to intentionally welcome our new Bears. We would like to thank our counseling staff, student WEB leaders, our staff WEB leaders, and many of our other staff members and volunteers for all of their help in organizing this event and for making Tolt a welcoming environment. 

WEB stands for Where Everybody Belongs. We train current year 7^th grade student leaders to be WEB leaders and mentors during their 8^th grade year. These students, with direction from our staff WEB advisors, plan for WEB activities throughout the school year for our 6^th graders, starting with the first day of school. Our mission is to create an inclusive community where students can learn to show empathy, practice resilience, and be a good member of our community. Programs like WEB make me grateful for the students and staff that we have at Tolt.

We are excited to honor our great group of 8^th grade students who have contributed so much to our Tolt Bear community. Events like our PTSA 8th Grade Dance, 8th Grade Field Trip and our 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony, all help celebrate the service, effort, empathy, kindness, and diligence that many of our students have demonstrated throughout this school year. Thank you for all that you do to make Tolt a wonderful place.

5th Grade Transition Event

Our 5th Grade Transition Event held yesterday was a wonderful time with our incoming 6th graders! Students were bused from their elementary schools to Tolt where they all met together and then were divided into smaller groups for guided tours by staff and our student WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) leaders. They took part in fun activities, met teachers and learned more about Tolt. It is always a great time to help our incoming 6th graders feel welcomed and comfortable with their big transition to Middle School--thank you all who participated to make this a special event!

Riverview School District Art Show

Riverview School District Art Show featuring artists from grades K-12, will be held at the Educational Service Center (ESC) in downtown Duvall on Saturday, June 3^rd from 9:00-3:00. Come see some amazing student art and participate in a free community art project.

8th Grade Student Athlete Requirements for

Cedarcrest High School

As 8th grade student athletes look ahead to transitioning to Cedarcrest High School, please be aware that in order to be eligible for fall sports at CHS, students must pass all 4th quarter classes at Tolt. There is an option to take summer school to make up for any failed classes and clear eligibility. If failed classes are not made up, at minimum, students will be ineligible for competitions until the first grade check at the end of September at CHS. Grades can be checked regularly in Skyward.

Yearbook Distribution Day

Tuesday, June 20

On Tuesday, June 20, we will be distributing yearbooks to all students who purchased. If you did not purchase one, we have a limited amount for $35 cash or check only, first come first serve on June 20 in the main office. They can only be purchased during Yearbook Time 2:33-2:57.
