Organizing to Respond: Risk Assessment
Sun Apr 13, 11:30am, Sanctuary & Online: bit.ly/CUUC-Zoom-7899
This Sunday, discussion will focus on assessing levels of risk the congregation is comfortable with as we plan actions and respond to requests from community partners. If congregations are to act in true solidarity with the broader community (including and especially those who are most directly impacted by oppression), we must do the rigorous work of knowing who we are, what we have to offer, and how we are prepared to act before the crisis moment arrives. Taking the time to engage in discernment conversations before we act can enable us to make concrete offerings, respond to urgent requests in agreed upon ways, and reliably follow through with our commitments. Please join us.
Stay Informed! If you are looking for ways to get involved in social action, remember to visit our Organizing to Respond doc, which has many resources and is updated regularly. Contact: Rev. Danielle and Tracy.

Flow Kits
Sun May 4, During Worship & RE, Fellowship Hall
Are you searching for a one-time service project happening when you are already planning to be at CUUC? Well, you're in luck. The Reproductive Justice Team and Religious Exploration are looking for some helpers for the Flow Kit service project on Sunday, May 4, 2025, during the service and RE. We will be packing flow kits with menstrual products for our partner organization, 914Cares, and we'd love your help. Adults and children are both welcome. Last year this project was a huge success and we were able to put together 200 flow kits with a handful of children and adults working together. This year we are hoping for even more volunteers for this important effort. If you are interested, you can sign up here 2024-2025 Social Justice Sign up.xlsx or you can email Audra Russell.
