Meet our newest team members! Ashley Zhang, a freshman majoring in Biosciences, assumes the position of President for the Moody Student Collaborative. Marcella Molinar, a junior with a double major in Business and Film and Photography, joins us as the Communications Officer. Both are eager to collaborate with the Moody to create thoughtful, engaging events for the student community!

Experience the exhibition Hayv Kahraman: The Foreign in Us through sight, sound, touch, and taste! During this multi-sensory event, guests can explore the galleries while enjoying a live performance of Persian music; tasting a selection of torshi samples prepared by local chefs; and trying their hand at paper marbling.
Skyspace Performance | Hour Selves: Moving Into Being

James Turrell Twilight Epiphany Skyspace | RSVP Not Required | Seating is Limited

Experience the innovative dance of New York-based choreographers Rashaun Mitchell and Silas Riener in two free performances presented at the Skyspace. Members of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Rashaun and Silas, blur authorship and use improvisational techniques to create community-based choreography. The performances will take place before the daily Sunset Light Sequence.

Join us to celebrate the completed installation, Practices of Attention, featuring artwork from Rice students facilitated by artist and instructor Angela Chen. In response to a series of readings, field trips, and artistic experiments centered on ecological caretaking, students collaborated on this progressive art project culminating in a mixed-media installation on view through April 30.
Nostalgic Moody Study Break

Moody Student Collab is once again hosting an end-of-year study break with the theme of nostalgia! Bring your friends to the Moody on 4/22 from 6-8 p.m. to watch a movie, enjoy sweet goodies, create collages and letters, and take pictures with a Polaroid camera! Keep a watch out on our Instagram @themoodystudentcollaborative to vote on which movie we will show. End off the school year on a high note at Moody!
The LAST Spring 2024 Makerspace Workshop!
Sign up for our last workshop of the semester. No previous knowledge is required and we will teach you how to create a design and use the equipment safely. Sign up now, space is limited.
