MISSION EXPANDED

How we are reaching MORE families!

We have updated our mission and brought some money home to be housed at the Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado. This expansion allows us to provide gas and lodging assistance for those traveling to ANY pediatric hospital or specialty location outside of Southwest Colorado. The Durango/Southwestern Colorado areas defined for access to these funds includes La Plata, Montezuma, Dolores, San Miguel, San Juan and Archuleta counties in Colorado.

We are so grateful for our Durango Derailers Team riders, business sponsors, event planners and individual donors that ride strong and fund-raise with passion for our cause to make our mission possible!

2022 Donation Total = $223,749.10

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible in 2022. The Corporate Sponsors, The Donors, The Riders, and the Dancers. You ALL made this happen for our kids!

Did you know...

In 2022, 85 families benefited from the Durango Derailers Patient Assistance Fund. That's over 3 families EVERY two weeks!
This number is half of what it used to be due to newly implemented fund restrictions at Children's Hospital Colorado. By expanding our mission, fundraising locally, and building funds at the Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado we expect this number to multiply greatly and serve more families!

FAMILY SPOTLIGHT

Dear Durango Derailers,

Thank you so much for helping us out with gas money resources. We appreciate it more than you know! All these trips to Denver multiple times a year to see specialists can be costly. With the help from the derailers the gas funds provided by them have helped our little family immensely. It’s one less thing I have to stress about paying for.
