What's Happening in Youth Services?
New Club & A New Playtime
First, a huge thank-you to all the wonderful patrons and staff who donated to our Giving Tree! Every year you can be counted on to help out with this effort, and this year you donated more gifts than ever. You have made Christmas so much merrier for homeless children served by Emmaus, Inc., and we are deeply moved by your generosity.

Now that the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is behind us, the Youth Services Department will slow down a bit to start the year at a relaxed pace. We do have a couple of new programs to mention, though:

First, a Graphic Novel Book Club for ages 8-12 – the graphic novel genre is full of great stories, art, and ideas, and kids will enjoy discussing them in this book group. Secondly, we’re offering a Sensory Playtime for ages 2-6 – a chance for kids to engage their senses and imaginations at stations that offer various tactile experiences.

As ever, we’ll also have our usual variety of preschool programs, storytimes, book groups, craft clubs, and teen/tween programs -- keep an eye on the Youth Services calendar and Facebook page to learn about upcoming programs!

Happy New Year, and Happy Reading!
