Homeschoolers, grades K - 12, are invited to submit one piece of artwork (drawing, painting, sculpture, needlework, etc.) to display at Indian Valley Public Library throughout the month of September. Contact Nicole (nhusbands@ivpl.org) with any questions.
Guidelines:
Artwork and completed submission form should be dropped off at the Children's Room between Monday, August 21 and Friday, August 25.
2D artwork should be mounted (construction paper, lightweight board, etc) with a border.
Staff will create labels for the art featuring the artist’s first name/last initial and age.
Contact information will be used for staff to reach out to the student’s parent or guardian after September for artwork pickup. Unclaimed artwork will be disposed of on Friday, October 27.
Indian Valley Public Library reserves the right to refuse to display any piece of art.
A Meet the Artist event will be held on Monday, September 25 at 6 pm. Attendance is optional.

1. Between June 1 and August 31, read or listen to three (3) books that fit into the categories of one line (vertically, horizontally or diagonally) for tic-tac-toe!
2. Fill in the title and author of each book that you read or listened to. No duplicate titles allowed.
3. Fill in your contact information. Return the tic-tac-toe sheet(s) to the library by August 31 to be entered into the drawing for a chance to win a gift card to a local business! You can do one, two or all three of the sheets.

Jane Edna Mohler is the 2020 Bucks County Poet Laureate. She was the 2016 winner of Main Street Voices. She has presented at the Bay to Ocean Writers’ Conference from 2020 through 2022 and Montgomery County’s Caesura Conference in 2021 and 2022. Recent publications include Gargoyle, River Heron Review, and One Art. Her full-length collection, Broken Umbrellas, (Kelsay) was published in 2019. Helping the Homeless, While Recycling!
Did you know recycled grocery bags can create colorful, woven mats for homeless individuals in our community? Through a partnership with Integrate for Good and Angels in Motion, the Indian Valley Public Library is joining the project. Each week community members will join to learn different parts of the project including cutting bags, making loops, making "plarn" (plastic yarn), and weaving the mats on a loom.
