Snowbasin Ski Team Families, Alumni & Friends,
Mother Nature is still dumping snow on us, but our programs are wrapping up this month with the Alpine SnowCup April 6-9th @ Snowbird, UT and the IFSA Jr Freeride Championship April 7-9th @ Breckenridge, CO. You will continue to see both Alpine & Freeride bopping around the Wasatch Front eating up some of this Springtime snow with friends & family. We are excited to announce our new Snowbasin Ski Team Programs & Progressions for 2024-25. Exciting growth is happening and we want you to be the first to know. 2024-25 Program Descriptions, Tuition Rates and Registration Links will be posted to our Snowbasin Ski Team Website on April 20th.

Registration will open for current Snowbasin Ski Team Families on May 1, 2024. New families will be invited to register starting May 15, 2025. All programs will have enrollment caps. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold a spot on the team. Tuition must be paid in full by Nov 1st.

Troy Price Selected as Technical Delegate for NorAm Finals
We are thrilled to announce that Troy Price has been chosen as the Technical Delegate (TD) for the upcoming NorAm Finals, set to be the pinnacle event for elite athletes across North America. This selection marks a significant milestone for Troy, who is among the distinguished group of only 43 individuals in the United States holding the esteemed certification of International Technical Delegate.

Troy's role as TD entails a crucial responsibility in ensuring the smooth execution of the NorAm Finals. His expertise and dedication will be instrumental in upholding the standards of excellence synonymous with this championship event.

Embarking on his mission, Troy will commence his journey on April 5th, undertaking an inspection of the venue. Collaborating closely with the race organizer, he will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that every aspect is prepared for the event, fostering an environment conducive to World Class performances.

Scheduled for April 10th and 11th, the Women's Giant Slalom (GS) and Slalom (SL) events promise to deliver thrilling displays of athleticism and skill. Troy's commitment to excellence and his unwavering passion for the sport will undoubtedly contribute to creating a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved.

Reflecting on his appointment, Troy shared, "I am honored to receive this FIS TD assignment. Panorama boasts an incredible race venue and a huge group of dedicated volunteers that work together to ensure the athletes have a memorable experience."

Ray Miller Memorial Success
Epic! The first ever Ray Miller Memorial was filled with the spirit and enthusiasm that was Ray Miller. Over 300 IMD YSL athletes competed in their first region wide SL and GS. The Miller family was on hand for podium honors and athletes got to see Ray's Olympic torch up close and personal. It was a day of bests. Wanna feel like you were there? Launched mid-season is our new Photo Gallery. Dedicated, high powered volunteers with amazing photography skills have been capturing athletes and events. Enjoy. Any orders placed go to support the general operating fund reducing costs for every athlete on the team.
Alpine Race
I would like to take a moment to say THANKS to our amazing parents & dedicated coaching staff. I am grateful for your commitment to keeping our athletes safe, focused & engaged in the sport. We look forward to celebrating the Alpine athletes at our Alpine Awards Ceremony, April 24th 6-9pm @ AmerSports. Well done, Snowbasin Ski Team.

Basin Freeride
A huge thank you to our coaches for another great season with Basin Freeride!
We had our final ski day as a team on Saturday, March 30th with almost 10" of fresh powder! We announced the Butch Hoffman Scholarship recipients who received $250 and the Freeride Team Values and Sick Bird Awards. Our Freeride coaches also celebrated an amazing coaching season with a Coach Ski Day on March 31st.

Upcoming Championship Event: 

IFSA Breckenridge U12 Championship April 7th, 8th, and 9th. Congratulations to Stephen Andrasko, William Andrasko, and Daisy Marcano for getting into this event. Best of luck!

Online Membership Registration Closes for Season on April 1 
Online registration will be closed for the month of April to allow for preparation for the 2024-25 season. During this time, individuals who wish to register for the 2023-24 season may contact Member Services for an alternate registration option. 

Update Your Online Account Now to Save Time Later
If you haven’t already done so, please take a few minutes to re-link your membership number and those of any minor members to your account using these instructions. Doing so now will save you time when registering next season. Completing the re-linking process will also allow members to access Member Benefits.

When renewing your minor children’s membership(s) for next season, please use a parent email as the primary contact for the member. This will ensure you receive the verification code needed to re-link your child’s membership to your account.
