St. Peter Athletics

Please remember, Mrs. Bell is the current St. Peter Athletic Director position. All communication regarding athletics will come from, and can be directed to her at [email protected], or 573-636-8922 Ext. 233.

Attached are the links to register for athletic activities (except Little Olympics) and to be a coach or assistant coach for the 2023-2024 academic school year. You can register for all activities at once or wait until each season gets closer. Please try not to duplicate registrations as it becomes tedious looking through all students that are registered for activities. The links will also be found on the St. Peter school website under the Athletics tab, then click on Athletic forms.

Information regarding the season, placement, etc. for individual sports can be found on the sports pages on the St. Peter website under the Athletics tab.

The only paperwork required to be sent to Mrs. Bell is a copy of a current physical exam form. The MSHSAA physical exam form can be found on the St. Peter website under the Athletics tab, and is available on the MSHSAA website as well.

As always, we are looking to add new members to the St. Peter Athletic Committee. The Committee is a sub-committee of the School Advisory Board and meets monthly. The AC is responsible for supervision as well of athletic events hosted by St. Peter. If you have questions or would like to know more about the responsibilities of a AC member, please contact Mr. Veit @ [email protected]. If you are interested in being a member please contact Mr. Veit or Mrs. Bell ([email protected]).

Cross Country practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the first regular practice to be on Monday, August 21. Please contact Scott Skinner for more information at [email protected].

Church News

St. Peter will hold our parish celebration for parishioners and the community on Friday, August 11 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM on our campus and Broadway. Live music, food trucks, country store, giveaways, kids zone and a beer garden will all be included in the fun!

We need help from our parish family to make this a great time for all. Please visit our volunteer sign up link, https://signup.com/go/cqjaAbZ to volunteer some of your time that evening. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt; please add your shirt size in the comments field.

Please keep in mind that all adult volunteers (graduated high school) who work with children need to be VIRTUS certified (trained and background checked). If you are an event volunteer, you only need to sign up with the VIRTUS office to have a background check run. No one will see the results of this check; it is only for safe environment purposes. The link to get this done is: https://diojeffcity.org/safe-environment-archive/single-occasion-volunteer-form/ Please be sure this is done before the event.

Items needed for the Country Store! We are asking for donations of cakes, pies, treats, or whatever you would like to donate that can be sold that evening! Please bring offerings from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM to Selinger Centre gym on August 11. Thank you for your contributions to our event! Bring the family for a night of fun, food and friendship!
