SHOUT-OUTS!
The following are shout-outs and thank-yous from various members of our community.
Dear Amazing PTSA Parents,

I want to take the time right now, to thank you for all of the kind things you do to treat us and make us feel supported and recognized. Until coming to International School, I’d never received any recognition or gratitude for my work as a teacher during teacher appreciation week, so when I tell you that what you do matters, it does. I feel supported, encouraged, recognized, and respected. So, thank you for the treats and the lunches and for letting us know, loud and clear, that IS parents are amazing. I love being in this community with you!

Best regards,
Janet Towne
AP World History, Contemporary World Affairs, Human Geography
International School, Bellevue, WA
Thank you so much for all you do with the teacher appreciation week and everything else under the sun! We are so grateful!!! The thoughtfulness and care and most importantly, the participation of everyone involved. We feel so loved! And I know we should not compare but I definitely do feel that our IS PTSA is the best one ever.

Thank you again,
Arty Christianto
International School Middle School Counselor
We would like to thank Anna (Yueyi) Luan for chairing the Staff Appreciation Committee. Your dedication and leadership throughout this school year has been amazing. We could not have done all of this without you. Awesome job!

Thank you,
Qiong Chen
ISPTSA Co-VP of Community
PTSA Parents Win Teacher Appreciation Week in a Stunning, Slam Dunk Victory! Titan teachers and staff thank you, the most fabulous parents ever, for a week of delicious breakfast, fabulous lunch, kind words, and gift card treats. We are encouraged and energized by your amazing kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. Wow! We are so thankful to be in an awesome and supportive community with you and your students. Thank you and merci beaucoup!
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PTSA NEWS
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello Everyone,

This week is Focus Week, and I truly believe that this is when students and parents fall in love with IS. It's such a unique experience for the students as they learn differently and get to experience new subjects and challenges. We are also back to traveling during this week. My eldest may not remember all the details of a class taken during their time at IS, but you can bet they remember every Focus Week. Thanks to our dedicated teachers, staff, and parents for making this week a successful one to remember. Another shoutout to some really motivated parents: two current parents of IS students, Phil Bloch and Azfar Moazzam, are running for a BSD School Board seat for 2024. Caroline Watson is running as an incumbent BSD School Board member with a graduate from IS. Way to go in advocating for our kids. Let’s keep that positive focus during Focus Week.

Thank you,
