An updated look at City Centre

Here's a look at the most recent work on The Link, the second parking garage and The Astro.


In this drone video, you can see the concrete base of the plaza in front of The Astro, as well as the shape of the ramps leading from The Astro to The Link.


There's sure to be lots more change in the coming months before these facilities officially open to the public!

Our first outdoor movie of the summer is tomorrow night. (Friday, June 9) Join us at Central Park to watch Top Gun: Maverick.


Kona Ice will be available for purchase, and supporting community partner Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will provide prizes for raffle drawings before each show.


Blankets, chairs and picnics are encouraged. Movie begins at dusk.

The La Vista Live & Local summer concert series kicks off on Friday, June 23 at Central Park.


Each La Vista Live & Local concert will start with an acoustic opener at 6 p.m. Main acts begin around 7 p.m. Food trucks open at 5 p.m.

Cruising through June

The La Vista Senior Center took a boat cruise this week. The excursion included a picnic lunch and, of course, some fishing fun.

Farmers market coupons are back

The La Vista Senior Center has 50 sets of farmers market coupons to give away.


Coupons will be distributed June 26 through a lottery system and awarded by a drawing.
