Weekly Newsletter 03/28/2024

Dear Parents,

As this is a short week and lots of our students were out for Spring Recess, I told staff they did not need to do a classroom weekly newsletter. In all classes, students had a chance to continue their routines and participated in activities related to spring.

We are all excited to gear up for our Spring Egg Hunt. We ask that all kids who are able bring in a dozen eggs filled with NON-CANDY ITEMS. Please also take a moment to close all eggs with a tiny piece of tape. This helps us as it keeps the eggs from opening on the playground. Some students have already brought in their eggs. Below is an example that one child brought in from Target. It was $5 for a dozen eggs prefilled with little toys.

We are excited to welcome families onto our campus for the egg hunt. Please keep in mind, our insurance will not allow babies or other non enrolled children to be on our campus. We do allow up to 2 adults per child to participate. If you choose to come, please arrive 10 minutes early to help us hide the eggs for each class. Please also be aware for our younger kids, they may cry when it is time for your to leave. After the hunts in each class the teacher will assist the kids in sharing eggs so that each child has a similar amount. This is a great lesson on sharing.

All bags of eggs will be sent home (no baskets needed, we provide the bags). Please be with your child when they open the eggs as we cannot police what is inside. We hope all families follow the rules of NO CANDY OR NUTS.

For those of you who celebrate Easter, I wish you a wonderful weekend with family!
