Benchmarking 201: Update your account, understand your score, and take action

The City of Seattle is offering a free workshop for participants that have previously benchmarked their commercial and multi-family properties. This hands-on session will teach you how to make annual updates
to your building's energy performance using the free on-line tool ENERGY STARĀ® Portfolio Manager. Participants will also learn tips to make their energy score as accurate as possible, learn how to use the data to track their energy performance overtime, and
will be introduced to the "beyond benchmarking" with a viewing of tools, resources, and utility incentive programs that can help them achieve energy savings.

on "What's new with cooling tower operations and maintenance," presented by Seattle Public Utilities Water Conservation Program. SPU has been providing incentives and education to the local community for many years. After the Cooling Tower Incentive Program

Building Operator Certification (BOC) Level 1 and Exam SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE

The 2018 Series Launches March 28th in Seattle; September 25th in Renton

IFMA Members receive $100 off of BOC tuition; additionally there is one scholarship available through Grosvenor Americas.

This scholarship was created by Grosvenor Americas , a privately-owned property group that has a strong commitment to sustainability and wishes to help promote green practices within the building operations industry.

One scholarship is available to a prospective Building Operator Certification student in 2018. The scholarship amount is $2180 and is to be spent on the BOC training and certification program. ($1895 towards training and certificate completion, $285 towards certification examination).
