The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency is Coming to an End.
People who are enrolled in Medicaid will need to reapply to the State of Colorado for re-determination of their eligibility. Statewide, it is projected that 16-18% of current enrollees will lose their Medicaid coverage over the coming year as a result of the re-determination process.

Currently, 30% of our patients are enrolled Medicaid and 44% are uninsured, but the end of the PHE will impact these percentages; we anticipate many patients will lose their Medicaid coverage and have no insurance to cover their care.

You can help us continue to provide cost effective, evidence-based, high-quality healthcare to your friends and neighbors who need our services now more than ever.
A Message From Our Chief Medical Team,
Dr. Anneliese Heckert and Dr. Matt Percy
“As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and the Public Health Emergency comes to an end, Mountain Family will continue to provide healthcare for all, improving the health of our community while keeping costs down. We are dedicated to continuing to care for all our patients regardless of their ability to pay. More money spent on primary care means less money spent on high-cost hospital services, which is a win for our whole community.

We have a talented team of experts on our Outreach and Enrollment team who are available to meet with anyone to inform them about insurance and payment options and assist them in making applications It will take our community coming together to adjust to these changes and ensure there is no gap in medical, behavioral, and dental healthcare.”
