COMMUNITY GRANTS

The ISDS Foundation distributes grant money each year to various projects that benefit the people of Illinois.

Funding requested for each applicant may not exceed $10,000.

Applications must be postmarked no later than

May 28.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

The ISDS Foundation board of directors will award six scholarships at $6,000 each (2 for each dental school) for 2023.

Current D3 students enrolled in the third year of an accredited four-year traditional pre-doctorate dental program in Illinois may apply (CLASS of 2024), with scholarship recipients being announced in early July.

The application deadline is

May 31.

The Practice Institute team posted a short video on the ADA YouTube channel (in the Practice and Wellness playlists) promoting an updated version of the Dentist Health and Well-Being Program Directory. This updated directory is a free resource available to all dental professionals and includes a list of healthcare professionals in each state who will serve as a point of contact and offer support during a time of need.

The ADA Resiliency Webinar Series (available for CE) give learners 10 evidence-based resilience strategies to support their mental health and wellness.

Dentists Support Program Needed Now More than Ever

Dental Lifeline Network thanks the ISDS Foundation

The Illinois State Dental Society Foundation recently announced the winners of the 2022 Community Grant Awards. This year $100,000 in grant monies were awarded to thirteen organizations for projects designed to provide access to dental care and increase oral health awareness and education.
