We are excited to invite you to in-person meetings across the state of Missouri regarding the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP). The YHDP is an initiative designed to reduce youth experiencing homelessness ages 24 and under. Learn more about YHDP here.
Our team is seeking to engage with youth with lived expertise, interested organizations, service providers, and advocates to inform the Coordinated Community Plan (CCP). Your feedback and input are crucial in ensuring that the CCP addresses the needs of young people experiencing housing instability. We want to know what support young people need, the issues that youth face, and the resources required to get safe and stable housing.
We would be delighted to have you join us in these in-person meetings. Your participation will help us develop a plan that will effectively address the needs of young people experiencing housing instability. Please register for each session you are interested in attending.
Sessions and Locations:
April 10th: Liberty, MO
April 11th: Columbia, MO
April 12th: Rolla, MO
April 13th: St. Louis, MO
All sessions will be from 10 am to 4 pm with an optional Q&A time until 5 pm post meeting. Each session will provide a light breakfast and lunch. We will compensate youth with lived expertise for their time.
