There is a lot of 'energy' in the school building these days. Some of this is no doubt related to our extended time indoors for recess because of the cold weather. We are hopeful that we can get the kids outside this afternoon!! Our policy is when the 'feels like' temperature is below ten degrees, we remain indoors.

We have been analyzing our data from several sources over the past several weeks. There was exceptional participation in our family survey which provided valuable information. Additionally, we have data from running records and MAPS data. One point of feedback that I have heard is that families not only want to provide feedback, but importantly want to know specific changes that are or will happen to move St. Joseph Catholic School forward.  I will be providing specific actions in next week's newsletter in a "State of the School" format.

We are beginning the process of setting the calendar for the 2025-26 school year. As we did for the current calendar, we will make all efforts to align with some of the high schools that your older children attend. The calendar for 25-26 will be out to families on March 21.

We are grateful to the families that are getting the word out about our school. We are providing tours and information to a growing number of families interested in attending our school for next year. Several of the families are mentioning that our current families are recommending our school. Let's continue to work together to make our school as strong as ever!

Gratefully,

Chris
