NEW ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION OFFERING:
Signs and Wonders: A Beginner's Guide to the Miracles of Jesus
beginning Sunday, April 16 ~ 9:15 AM
Rm. 31 of Education Bldg. or by Zoom link here
Meeting ID: 878 4884 3240 Password: 510649
In the introduction to this study by Amy Jill Levine, she writes of the people who lived at the time of Jesus – "Pretty much everyone agreed that miracles occurred; the question was what they signified." For those early Christians the miracle stories were significant, enough that they were passed from one group to another until finally being passed down and used in the gospels. What significance might they have for Christians in the twenty first century? That is the major question Professor Levine addresses for this eight-part study. For more information, contact Dick Hooper or David Starling.
"Pouring into Our Parents" (POP)
Sundays ~ 9:30 AM ~ 2nd floor of the Christian Education Bldg.
Children & Family Ministries offers a parenting class on Sunday mornings and welcomes parents with newborn babies to high schoolers. This class, Pouring into Our Parents (POP), meets at 9:30 AM in the Library on the second floor of the Christian Education building. The class will begin with a series on what a gospel-centered parent looks like. Discussions and readings hit on family codes, discipline, trust, times of suffering, hope, and grace.
We extend the love of God (Outreach/Parishioner Support)

THE FLOWERING OF THE CROSS ON EASTER SUNDAY
The flowering of the cross is a beautiful way to symbolize the new life that emerges from Jesus’s death. For 40 days we have witnessed the starkly bare cross. The living flower cross of Easter Sunday visually represents the new life that we are celebrating and this year, as you come to Easter Sunday service, we invite you to pause by the cross in the courtyard and add some flowers to it. You can bring flowers from your garden, or you can place flowers from the bucket provided.

EASTER EGG HUNT DONATIONS
Easter Sunday has a special event between the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services — an Easter Egg Hunt! — and we could use your help with things to fill the eggs! As you are at the store getting ready for Easter, could you grab an extra bag of candy treats, small toys, etc., that we could stuff our eggs with? A basket to turn in donations is next to the back pew in the church. Thank you!

Any 6th-12th grade youth can become an acolyte, serving roughly one Sunday a month. Contact Kelly Heindl to learn more or join an acolyte team.

ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS
Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. After the Sunday services, the altar flower arrangements are reworked into smaller arrangements. These arrangements are delivered to members of our parish family that are unable to attend a Sunday service. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here and on the information table in the Parish Office.
