AgNext Research Team Selected for

$1M Conservation Innovation Grant from USDA

AgNext will use the grant to develop innovative technologies to reduce beef industry greenhouse gas emissions. This project will generate science-based estimates of CO2-equivalent (CO2e) emissions from the livestock grazing and finishing sectors using novel technologies and evaluate potential CO2e reductions from conservation practices.

AgNext Hosts: Rabo AgriFinance Regional Directors and New Graduate Course

Last month, AgNext had the opportunity to host regional directors from Rabo AgriFinance. During their visit, Dr. Kim Stackhouse-Lawson gave an overview of our research group and Dr. Pedro Carvalho and Dr. Sara Place gave the group a tour of the Climate-Smart Research Facility.

The new graduate course, AB581 visited the Climate-Smart Research Facility as part of their trip around the Agricultural Experiment Stations in Colorado.


During their tour, they learned first-hand from Dr. Kim Stackhouse-Lawson about how AgNext is researching sustainable solutions for animal agriculture.
