MESSAGE FROM KATIE

Many have likely heard of the results of the church conference but if you have not already, I've included the results below.

In a church conference vote of 224 to 62, Clinton First United Methodist Church has voted to begin the closure process under paragraph 2549. The percentage of "yes" votes was 78,32%.

As Rev. Fred Britton (District Superintendent of District 4), said, there are those who are happy about the results and those who are grieving. For those who are disappointed by the church conference results, please know that we are in prayer with you and for you.

We encourage you to be in prayer for the church leadership in the coming weeks and months, as well as our clergy and staff. Pray for the Kingdom work to continue - for Jesus' name to be spread through the missions and ministries of this church.

It was good to see so many of you on Sunday - I hope to see you in worship this coming Sunday as we continue our sermon series in Mark.

Blessings,

Katie
