Outside Fiber Plant Technician | 8 months

"I am fortunate to work for Arkansas Valley Electric as part of the WAVE fiber project. As a Fiber Technician, I am primarily in the field, covering territory from Clarksville to Spiro and even as far north as Oark. I work with various troubleshooting projects involving residential outages, mainline to the house, and tap upgrades. Overall, we are responsible for keeping the light going in the right direction to provide our WAVE customers with Wi-Fi. 

I feel at home here at Arkansas Valley Electric. My favorite part of working at the cooperative is undoubtedly my coworkers. They make it easy to get a lot of stuff done while still having fun."
