Spring 2024
Introducing NAAB’s New Website – Featuring Interactive Capabilities and New Design Elements
NAAB is excited to announce our new and improved website! The new site is designed to bring a higher level of service, connection, and engagement to our stakeholders – replacing the previous eight-year-old site.

Some of the best elements of the new site include:

  • A new, interactive peer networking community platform accessible via a secure login site for program directors and team members. The community platform will provide opportunities to engage in shared dialogue and to exchange resources that support NAAB's programs and volunteers in the accreditation process.
  • Intuitive navigation and improved UI/UX to provide quicker and easier access to key information.
  • An engaging homepage that simplifies access to current news and sought-after information
  • New content, including enhanced usability of the accreditation Frequently Asked Questions page and a new ICert Frequently Asked Questions page.
  • Improved website search capabilities to help stakeholders find the information they are seeking.
  • Enhanced search engine optimization to better share NAAB’s mission and the importance of accreditation.

NAAB's new website also features new design elements, which we are excited to introduce on this edition of NAAB News and the new site.

Thank you to our review group of program directors, team pool members, current board members, and past board members who provided crucial feedback during development.

Program directors and team pool members, be on the lookout for your invite to the new community platform!

Accreditation Updates
Recap: The Fundamentals of Program-Level Assessment Workshop
NAAB recently introduced a new virtual workshop on The Fundamentals of Program-Level Assessment for program directors and accreditation teams. This interactive, three-hour workshop focused on tools to develop effective, robust processes of program-level assessment and brought together more than 70 participants.
The workshop covered the similarities and differences between course and program assessment, how to develop and assess measurable student learning outcomes, how to create rubrics that provide programs with meaningful information on student performance, and how to design a process to analyze, discuss, and report assessment results and use those result for continuous improvement.

We are excited that programs and teams found this training valuable and plan to offer it again for those who missed it. Stay tuned for the new date and time in our Summer issue of NAAB News!
