CHARITY
HIGHLIGHT
In 2023, a $10,000 contribution from the Pelican Sound Charitable Foundation funded the ONGOING OUTREACH PROGRAM. Cafe of Life in Bonita Springs is dedicated to meeting the basic human needs of the working poor, low-income seniors and children. The Center at Leitner Neighborhood Park served over 21,000 daily mid-day meals to needy families and supports a take-home food pantry and a used clothing program. Funds from this grant provided food, paper products, and hygiene items. The Foundation also worked with the Harrell family to facilitate an additional $10,000 donation to this organization.
DONOR TESTIMONIAL:
Why do you contribute to the Pelican Sound Charitable Foundation?
“My father always taught me that it’s better to give than receive. Every place that I have lived I’ve always gotten involved in the community. So, I can give back to the community that I have been blessed to live in with so many wonderful people.”
