What do you like most about Casa Hogar? I like Casa Hogar because I have the opportunity to study and also because I feel comfortable living with my classmates.

News and Updates

Board members Chris Jones, Geno Rodriguez and Frank Stankunas led a mission trip to the orphanage December 1 - 4, 2022. Others in attendance included Hayden Stankunas and Raheem Saunders, as well as Josip Debeljuh, a missionary to Croatia. What they did:

cleared over 1,000 feet of sidewalk of weeds and mud (the kids helped!)
played soccer with the kids on their field
Geno led devotions
Juan entertained on the guitar
Dr. Myra (a local physician who attends to the kids) cooked dinner at her house for the team

While there, they got to see and celebrate 500 years of Panuco. Founded on December 26, 1522 by Hernan Cortes, Panuco became the third Spanish settlement in the American continent.

"I enjoy volunteering at the MOM orphanage because not only does it give me an opportunity to serve these wonderful kids, but to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I think it is very important to be involved with this organization because the kids need to know that they are loved and cared for regardless of where they are from and what they have gone through. I am very fortunate and grateful to be part of such an amazing organization."

Juan and the kids sing Open the Eyes of My Heart on a guitar given to Juan by board member Frank Stankunas. Juan also learned to play Sweet Home Alabama while the team visited.
