At the height of the big Kentucky 3-day Event weekend in Lexington, I ventured to the Bluegrass State to partake in the festivities with the team at The American Hanoverian Society and rendezvous with a few notable North American stallions, including Jac'Potes and Bandelero JSF at Hickory Manor, and Fabregas and Widmark at Oakwood Farms. The best judge of the full impression and character of a stallion is best felt from a personal encounter!

Young horse exhibition opportunities are filling the calendars!
The young horse exhibitions are underway in North America, with numerous show opportunities happening across the sporthorse disciplines! Here are just a couple organizations with active shows throughout the summer/fall 2023:
Spectators have the opportunity to connect with local breeders, observe potential offspring for sale, learn about discipline and breed objectives, while also building their network and deepening their appreciation for stallions, mares, and young horses as they develop into mature performance and/or breeding prospects within their respective disciplines and registries.
Be sure to look up and attend shows near you! These are also great opportunities to showcase your young horse and give them the experiences they will need to be confident in the show ring as mature horses under saddle.
