A Leap to Freedom

Join us on Wednesday, March 19th at 7pm as Atkinson, NH resident Edziu Polonka visits to discuss his journey to America from Poland just as Communism was beginning to crumble in his homeland in January, 1989.  He will be joined by local author Lynda Healey, who chronicles Mr. Polonka's story in her new book, A Leap to Freedom.

Books will be available for sale and refreshments will be served.  For more information or to register for the program, please contact the Circulation Department at (978) 686-4080, x16.

At Nevins Memorial Library, we have something for everyone to read! We also have a collection of movies, TV shows, music, and games that patrons can easily access. I hope to see you soon!  As always, be sure to check our website for more exciting programs for all ages.
