Everything Evergreen

Hello there Janice,

Evergreen Heritage Center Foundation is happy to report we've survived the cold spell and are looking forward to the warmer (and brighter) days ahead!

We're heading out to elementary schools this month to present our Elementary Edibles Program and working to engage students in the excitement of agriculture and healthy eating. And this weekend, we'll be heading to Ocean City for the annual Maryland Association for Environmental & Outdoor Education Conference! A great opportunity for educators of all disciplines!

The More You Know!

When you're planning your native gardens for this coming season, keep in mind that most species won't bloom all season long. If you plant a variety of wildflowers, you'll get continuous bloom times (and vibrant colors!), plus you'll provide a variety of food options for many different pollinators!

Here Comes the Bride...

Evergreen offers a dreamy venue surrounded by nature and history. One family's livelihood and home, turned a hidden lovers paradise. We offer a rustic, yet elegant venue to say "I Do." From our deck overlooking the mountains to our beautiful pond, we have something for everyone.

At Evergreen, I have been researching eco-friendly cabins that will be built on the EHC property. I am looking into options for how they should be built and the amenities we should include. I'm looking into all of the aspects that will give guests a comfortable and sustainable experience.
