Sunday - 8:30 and 10:30am

Reconciliation Saturdays at 4:30pm before the Vigil Mass.

First Saturday Mass

May 6 at 9am we will celebrate Mass with Father Augustine from Blessed Sacrament.

What a beautiful way to start your weekend, and your month, spending time in prayer and receiving the Eucharist before the busy weekend.

This Mass celebrates our Mother Mary with the beautiful Marian Missal.

Lectio Divina

Join us for Lectio Divina in the church for a few minutes on Sunday mornings following the 8:30 mass. Lectio Divina is a reflective approach to prayerfully entering into scripture readings. An experienced parishioner will lead our Lectio Divina.

Please Support the 2023 Annual Catholic Appeal!

The theme for the 2023 Annual Catholic appeal is “Give and it will be given to you,” Luke 6:23. You should have received the letter from Archbishop Etienne inviting all of us to generously support the more than 60 essential ministries and shared services of the Archdiocese through the ACA.

St. John’s goal this year is $87,833. Each dollar makes a difference in helping our many neighbors in need in the wider community of Western Washington. Please prayerfully consider how you can participate in helping our parish be a light to others. Thank you to the over 30 families who have already helped us raise over $13,000 toward our goal!

The quickest and easiest way to donate is to do so online. Click here to donate now.

Liturgical Life of the Parish

First Letter of Peter

You will hear passages from the First Letter of Peter at Sunday Masses of the Easter season during Year A of the three-year lectionary cycle. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults says that the Easter readings of Year A are particularly suitable for continuing the formation of the newly baptized. One reason is that Year A features the First Letter of Peter. It serves as the Second Reading at Sunday Mass for well over a month. Read more.

May Focus on St. John

When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. John 19:26-27

God chose Mary to be the mother of Jesus. He prepared her to be Jesus’ mother from the beginning of her life. Mary agreed to be the mother and her yes to God’s plan for her life began to undo Eve’s disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden. When He was dying on the cross, Jesus gave His mother to John the Apostle and to all of us. Read more.
