Welcome Bishops!

While Bishop Russell is on sabbatical, now through July 2, we would like to invite your warm welcome to the three bishops who will be making Episcopal visitations to churches over the next several months: The Rt. Rev. George Young, III, the Rt. Rev. Ci Jones, and the Rt. Rev. Stephen Miller. Their presence will maintain Bishop Russell's commitment that each church in our diocese receives an annual visit.  The visitation schedule can be found here.

Meet Our Six New Deacons!

On Saturday, March 25, Bishop Russell ordained six ordinands to the Sacred Order of Deacons at Christ Church Cathedral in Mobile. Deacon Carolyn Foster of the Diocese of Alabama, preached on living into the ministry of being the bridge between the church and the world through their new roles as deacons.
