Hello All!

We are almost ready for our Spring 2024 season! We currently have 12 schools booked with us and are gearing up to start staff training on March 4th. Our Head Naturalist, known as 'Woof' to most, will be returning, and he and I will be training a new crew of naturalists. The wind and rain made their mark on a large part of MacKerricher State Park, but thankfully our cabins and structures in our camp loop have been unharmed so far. There are some other exciting things in progress over here, and I hope to be able to update you all on them next month!

Thank you to all who donated to our "Driving Forward" campaign! Special thanks to Tom Buoye, Mendocino Coast Children's Fund, Sonoma Clean Power, and the Mericos Foundation. We were able to purchase a Ford Lightning, a much more eco-friendly and reliable choice for PEEC.

Shout-out to The Sign Shop in Fort Bragg for completing our truck's look with custom vinyl decals :)

The NorCal Winter Charity series has selected PEEC again as the recipient for the proceeds from their February Disc Golf Tournament! All donations from this event will go towards PEEC scholarships for the upcoming Fort Bragg Middle School trip.
