Summer Schedule and Groups
Please click the link below to see the summer schedule! Keep in mind that this schedule is tentative and may change. Summer groups will be emailed soon! Please remember that summer training groups are NOT the level your athlete is competing, level decisions will be confirmed by end of July for Bronze-Silver and end October for Gold-Diamond. If you have any questions on your child's level, please email Carly (xcel@jamhops.com)

New changes for the summer - all groups will have an increase in their gym hours! Summer is a great time to have the athletes spend more time on increasing their strength and skills as they are out of school. The increased hours will only apply during the summer and all groups will go back down in hours when school is back in session.
Modified practices - May

Bronze 1 will have practice on Saturday May 20th, 12:30-2:30 at our TEAM GYM. This change is due to the Annual Spring Show held at the Main gym during that time.

No practice for ALL levels Friday, May 26th and Saturday, May 27th - Have a great Memorial Weekend!

Gold/Platinum will not have practice Thursday, June 8th due to the Spring Lake Park Parade
Fee Reminder:
  • Gold and Platinum - Regional Championship coaches fee will be added in April and charged with the May tuition
  • Bronze 2-Diamond - Annual commitment fee of $125 will be added in May and charged with the June tuition. This fee is non-refundable.
Please reach out to Nicole (customercaredirector@jamhops.com) if alternative payment arrangements are needed.
Reminders:
  • Athletes should not be dropped off more than 15 minutes before practice time, unless prior arrangements have been made. Please remind athletes they should be waiting patiently by their locker/cubby. Athletes are not supervised at this time and will not be allowed to do gymnastics while waiting.
  • Open gym - athletes should be waiting by cubby area for open gym to start (they should not wait by the locker area). This is for the safety of all athletes.
  • Athletes should be picked up at the sidewalk/drop off lane promptly after their class. Please let their coach know if you will be more then 10 minutes late picking up your athlete.
  • Encourage your athlete to bring water bottle and running shoes to class! As we get into the warmer months, we like to take advantage of the good weather and walk/jog around the pond that is near the Jam Hops building.
  • Please bring any questions or concerns to Carly (xcel@jamhops.com) or to your athlete’s coach. We can not help if we are not aware of any issues.
  • All athletes that have a practice 3 hours or longer will have a 15 minute break to refuel their bodies. Please help or remind your athlete to bring a healthy, mess free snack for their break. Granola bars, protein bars, fruit, sandwich, etc are all great choices! Chips, goldfish crackers, gummy fruit snack, fruit roll up, etc may not be the best choice to sustain the athlete through a vigorous practice.
Private Lessons:
USAG has required an additional waiver for any private lessons. If you are scheduled to do a private lesson with any of our coaches, please fill out the Private Lesson Waiver and turn into your coach. Thank you!

When disaster strikes, the Gymnastics Community has always been amazing to help get people back on their feet.
Gymnastics Unlimited, Jacksonville, FL, suffered a huge loss on the morning of April 24, 2023. The gym burned to the ground, and is a total loss.

Snowflake Designs created a benefit leotard and a benefit t-shirt, all profits from the leotard/t-shirt orders will be donated to Gymnastics Unlimited.

The deadline to order this leotard and t-shirt is MAY 10th! If you are in need of a new leotard, please consider purchasing one that will help a good cause.

Athlete’s Corner
This month we are focusing on self image! Here are a few habits we can incorporate into our daily routines to help us feel good about ourselves.

Jam Hops Gives Back
“Jam Hops Gives Back” was a campaign started in 2013 as a way for our company to share with our Jamily and show our gratitude to our community for its continued support of our programs.

This year, our Jam Hops Program Directors have decided that we want to extend our outreach to include a 2023 Life Champion Award - Post-Secondary Scholarship, to a graduating senior who is currently enrolled and/or works in our Jam Hops programs. Jam Hops mission is to “Inspire Children to Become Life Champions”, and believe by bridging the support of our Jamily members into adulthood, we are continuing that passion that can reach a whole new generation of Life Champions
We want YOU to join our Jamily! We offer the benefit of a tuition discount for you and/or your family members. Click here to apply online!

We are currently hiring for:

  • DP Competitive Gymnastics Coach (B/HL)
  • Recreational Gymnastics Coaches (B/HL and A/R)
  • Gymnastics Coordinator (A/R)
  • Facilities Assistant (all locations)
