Join Us for a Blessed Holy Week: Your Participation Makes a Difference!
Dear Friends in Christ,
As we approach the sacred period of Holy Week, I am filled with anticipation and joy for the upcoming events that will bring our community together in worship and service. This year, we have a series of meaningful services and activities planned, beginning with the Fish Fry on Friday, April 11th, and continuing through to Easter Sunday on April 20th. Each of these events offers a unique opportunity for us to deepen our faith and experience the presence of God together.
Holy Week Schedule of Events
- Fish Fry: Friday, April 11th 6-8pm
- Palm Sunday: April 13th 8am and 10:30am
- Maundy Thursday: April 17th- 6:30pm
- Good Friday: April 18th 12pm and 6:30pm
- Easter Vigil: April 19th 6:30pm
- Easter Sunday: April 20th 7:45am, 9:15am, and 11:30am
Call for Volunteers
Our Holy Week celebrations rely on the generous spirit and dedication of our volunteers. Liturgy, the work of the people, is at the heart of what we do as Episcopalians, and it is through our collective efforts that we bring these sacred services to fruition. We need volunteers for various roles, including setting up for services, assisting with the Fish Fry, welcoming attendees, and more.
We are called into this Holy work together, and I encourage each of you to attend all these services and consider how you can contribute with your time and talent. This is what being the church is all about—working together to ensure that everyone who joins us can interact with God here and now.
Volunteer Opportunities

Please prayerfully consider how you can be a part of these Holy Week events. Your presence and help will make a significant difference, and together, we can create a truly blessed and memorable Holy Week.
Blessings,
Fr. Justin Yawn, Rector
