Fundraising Update

WIHA has been a grant-funded organization to date. We are now transitioning to a more donor-centric level of fundraising. We will be utilizing donation asks of our partners and participants, having new events with sponsorship opportunities, and using storytelling to show the impact of our programs with updated testimonials, all with the goal of diversifying our fundraising focus.

Help us by submitting a testimonial as a facilitator, or share with past participants. We'll include these to help convey the story of how impactful these programs are across the state!

Upcoming Research

Women on the Go

The developer of the Mind Over Matter: Healthy Bowels, Healthy Bladder program is working on a new research project called Women on the Go. This research project is focused on how to best support women to prevent or improve bladder and/or bowel leakage through a self-paced online program that offers simple exercises, and tips on eating fiber and drinking fluids. The program is currently recruiting participants. Read the research overview and then hang flyers to help recruit! We'll keep you updated on the new program, whether it is effective, and how to access when it's ready!

We’re aging. All of us. And it’s up to each of us to take good care of ourselves and our health as we age. That’s where we come in. We’re here to help people help themselves to better health. But we can’t do it alone! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we operate on grants and contributions from generous donors and partners. Your support is vital to us as we administer programs and promote practices that encourage good health. With your donation we can serve older adults in the best possible way to increase the quality of their lives. We thank you so much for being a part of our network!
