Art Exhibit at Barrington's White House Tonight
View the work of artist Cheryl Cook tonight from 6:00-8:00 pm at Barrington's White House as part of their "3rd Thursdays Art Night Out" series. Cook is a painter, teacher and courtroom sketch artist for television networks and the Chicago Tribune. The event includes complimentary appetizers, a cash bar, and an exhibition of Cook's work, which will also be available for purchase. Midwest Dance Collective Performs March 19 at BHS
Under the direction of Dancewerks owner Ellen Werksman, the Midwest Dance Collective will perform on Sunday, March 19 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Barrington High School. The concert, "Your Guess is as Good as Mine," is a visual journey of dance, song and multi-media, blended artistically to allow the audience an immersive experience in the art of dance. BPD to Host Referendum Info Meeting March 21
The Barrington Park District will ask voters to approve an $18.8 million bond issue to pay for improvements at Langendorf Park, including a new pool, bathhouse, picnic shelter, platform tennis and pickleball courts. They will host an informational meeting on Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 pm at Langendorf Park, 235 Lions Dr. in Barrington. Barrington Giving Day Seeks Spring Drive Donations
Barrington Giving Day is requesting donations for their Spring Cleaning Drive now through Saturday, April 15. Please considering dropping off used or new clothing, shoes, books, spots equipment, prom attire, toys and other items. Donations can be dropped off at: 300 N. Breakfast Rotary Hosts Early Bird Drawing April 27
Win up to $20,000, with a chance of winning an additional $500, in the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club Early Bird Drawing on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 pm. Only 400 tickets are available for the drawing, which will take place at Barrington's White House. Participants need not be present to win.
