Howard County Coalition Roundtables

The Howard County Local Health Improvement Coalition (LHIC) is hosting three (3) virtual Roundtable sessions in January 2025 to inform the next Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) or Strategic Plan.


Healthy Living: January 22, 2025, 2 PM EST

Healthy Minds: January 30, 2025, 2 PM EST


Each session will be 1 1/2 hours. Please send an email to lhic@howardcountymd.gov if you are interested in joining one or more sessions.

COVID Mask Guidance

Effective Monday, January 13, 2025, the Health Department WILL require masks in our clinical settings for staff and patients receiving health services. Masks will be provided in the front lobby for visitors. The Health Department recommends masks when visiting non-clinical areas.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. The Health Department's Cancer Prevention & Control Program provides Cervical Cancer screening and treatment information, resources and services.
