Lenten Teaching Series

Lent is a chance to see our need for God, renew our spiritual lives, and give us a new appreciation for the grace of God and his incredible love for us.

Our Lenten teaching series with Andrew and Joy Unger continues this Sunday.  Once the service ends, we will take a break for lunch in the Café, and then around 12:30 PM you can join us in the Sanctuary as we talk about some of the common themes that run through this wilderness season and how they can help us walk closer with Jesus as we prepare to fully enter into the joy of the Easter season. The series will continue each Sunday for the next two weeks.

On Good Friday, April 7, the Daughters of the Holy Cross will host a special presentation of "The Last Seven Words of Jesus: the Women Who Followed Their LORD to the Cross."

Come and hear seven clergywomen from various ministries across Northeast Ohio reflect upon the last hours of Jesus' life at Calvary.

The service begins at 7:00 PM at St. Luke's Church.

Creative Journaling

Come join our Creative Journaling Group at Linda Tompkin's Glory Barn. (just 3 miles from St. Luke's).

The group meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.

No previous art training or experience is necessary to be part of this group. Drawing skills are not required.

Linda has many self-helps for your use in her studio including the stencils and stamps she used in creating her own journal pages.

Linda will be sharing various techniques she has used through her years of journaling. Each evening will focus on a different technique. Combining art with the written Word is a wonderful and rewarding way of connecting to self and the Lord.
